캐나다 고용보험 EI 예상 지급액 알아보기

캐나다 EI(고용보험)은 보험료를 납부한 직장인이 본인의 과실이 아닌 다른 사유로 일자리를 잃으면, 캐나다 정부에서 지급해주는 보험입니다.

 

 

1. 예상 지급액 계산 방법

 

링크(https://srv129.services.gc.ca/eiregions/eng/postalcode_search.aspx)로 가셔서 우편번호를 입력하시면 각 지역별 실업률을 알아보실 수 있습니다.

 

 

Calculation of benefits

The amount of weekly benefits is calculated as follows:

• We calculate your total insurable earnings(ROE참조) for the required number of best weeks (the weeks that you earned the most money, including insurable tips and commissions) based on the information you provide and/or your Record(s) of Employment
• We determine the divisor (number of best weeks=21weeks)that corresponds to your regional rate of unemployment(6.9%)
• We divide your total insurable earnings(ROE참조) for your best weeks by your required number of best weeks(21 weeks)
• We then multiply the result by 55% to obtain the amount of your weekly benefits.

If your weekly earnings vary or your income changes

To calculate your benefit amount, we use a specific number of your highest paid weeks of employment. We call these your best weeks. The number of best weeks we use is based on the unemployment rate where you live. It could be between 14 and 22 weeks.

 

위의 계산 법대로 하면 저는 한주에 389.15달러를 받을 것으로 예상이 됩니다. 실제 받을 때는 여기서 텍스를 제외하고 받는다고 합니다.

 

 

2. 고용주에게 ROE (Record Of Employment) 신청

 

ROE는 고용주가 근로자에게 발급하는 고용 기록으로, EI 신청을 위해 꼭 필요한 서류입니다.

* 고용주가 온라인으로 신청 시(Electronical ROE), 정보가 바로 서비스 캐나다로 가기에 서비스 캐나다에 우편이나 방문하실 필요가 없습니다.
